The Parks Commission is using the money to

provide a much needed scoreboard at the

ball fields at Spirit of '76 Park.

Additional donations are forthcoming to

churches that have helped with the Tour

de Loco in previous years.

About 180 riders celebrated the 4th of July with the Locozoomos at the Tour de Loco.  A cool, cloudy, and calm morning greeted the cyclists.  The perfect weather would not last as rain moved in mid-morning and lasted a couple of hours.  Most of our 10, 30 and 40 mile riders were in before the rains.  The 67 and 100 mile riders got a good soaking before finishing under sunny skies.
